I love a pop of colour somewhere and as I use only natural make-up and mostly browns and neutral shades, a touch of colour from my nail varnish always does the trick, especially as it’s sandal weather!

This week, we talk to a truly inspirational Beautiful Woman, Tracey Woodward. Frankly, her life deserves a whole book rather than a short blog, but we’re thrilled to catch up with her during her busy schedule. This amazing lady went from being unable to read and write until she was 14 to Chief Executive of the luxury brand Aromatherapy Associates. 

We had the most amazing wedding on the 19th May with Megan and Harry, which the world celebrated and that thankfully gave us some cultural diversity in our Royal family!

When it comes to natural beauty Laura Milliken is certainly the model who’s taken it to another level. “I don’t actually own a lipstick or any other kind of make-up” she tells us. “When I was modelling, make-up artists found that the made-up look just didn’t suit me”.

What Vidal Sassoon is to hair, Manolo Blahnik to shoes and Coco Chanel to Haute Couture, Shavata Singh is to eyebrows. Our Beautiful Women’s section was created to inspire women by interviewing other inspirational women, and Shavata in unquestionably an inspiration!

Once in a while a book comes along that can change your life and we think we’ve found that very book - Mad Diet. Don’t be fooled by the title, its author Suzanne Lockhart isn’t another health guru peddling yet another new diet. 

What an amazing week we’ve had with the sunshine finally coming out. I spent the most amazing few days in Whitstable in Kent in my Caravan with my family. My husband and my children were swimming in the sea, believe it or not !!!!

We all know of the dangers to the environment regarding plastic waste, we see it everywhere. Thankfully, this is beginning to filter through to the beauty industry now and we are seeing more and more products in ethical packaging.
